Dr. Nkem Obiechina completed her training in Periodontics and Implant dentistry from Columbia University in 2001. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from University of Pittsburgh in 1998. She is the recipient of the Melvin Morris award for clinical excellence in Periodontics from Columbia University as well as the Northeast Regional Board Student award for excellence in Periodontics. She has worked extensively in the field of clinical periodontics with the goal of ensuring that her patients receive the best quality care and have access to the latest techniques and technology available in the field. She has given multiple seminars for dentists on Periodontics and Implant dentistry and has completed multiple publications in peer reviewed journals as well as books on Dental Implant therapy. She remains involved in active private practice in the field of Periodontics and Dental implantology.
